During August and September, Career Coaches introduced themselves to students and families at Middle and High School Back to School Nights. They provided resources to families, such as the Top 5 In-Demand Career Certifications in Anne Arundel County and AAWDC’s upcoming events calendar. Students were given a one pager on H.I.T.C.H., which stands for healthcare, information technology, transportation, construction, and hospitality, to learn about some of the career options in the region’s high-growth industries. Back to School Nights allowed Career Coaches to engage and support families with career resources, along with developing connections with new and returning students.
