Four hundred students attended Central Middle School’s Mini Science Fair, a collaboration between AASCE and the Science Department. Between 11am to 3:55pm on November 4^th, seventh grade students watched a video on sensory neurons in the body and heard about various careers within the medical field, such as Cognitive Neuroscientist, Orthopedic Surgeon, Physiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, Lab Technician, Pathologist Assistant, and more. Professionals from Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) and the Department of Health (DOH) visited to discuss their career and education pathways with the students, along with why they decided to work in healthcare. Around the fair, there were various stations.
